Act Art 5 - Till Death Us Do Art - Friday 8th June 2007 - London

With over 120 participating artists Act Art 5 is a collaboration of some of the world's finest underground interdisciplinary artists and DJ's, a celebration of non- mainstream artistic practices and sub cultures. As well as an invaluable platform to showcase new art works by a range of artists from different cultural backgrounds and genders who are united by an interest in the body and a passion for works that are experimental, radical, confrontational and non-mainstream. animate:SPACE participated with the new production, 'Spillage'.

Spillage @ AA5

'Spillage' is a new performance work pushing the limits of people's fear and tolerance. This truly immersive performance environment aims to breakdown the conventions of spectatorship and the boundaries of art and life. Spectators were invited to the chair, immersing them into a hermetic world of provocative sights, sounds and smells. This was an inter-disciplinary performance, fusing spectators, projections, and soundscapes.
